These disorders often present with similar clinical signs and lead to a change in urination habits. Understanding the aetiology\, clinical signs\, diagnostic approaches\, and management strategies for these conditions is essential for timely and effective therapy. This presentation will discuss urolithiasis\, urinary tract infections\, prostatic disorders\, and incontinence; focusing on their pathophysiology\, diagnosis\, and therapeutic options disorders \nRSVP essential\, also for members\, please register and add event to your calendar for reminders. \nDr Remo Lobetti\nBVSc\, MMedVet\, PhD\, DECVIM – Veterinary Internal Medicine\, SA\nRemo Lobetti graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Science\, Onderstepoort\, University of Pretoria in 1987. In 1990 completed a BVSc (Hons)\, 1995 an MMedVet (Med) degree\, and a PhD in 2005. In 1997 achieved board certification by the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. \nRemo worked in general practice before joining the Department of Medicine\, Faculty of Veterinary Science\, University of Pretoria in 1992 initially as senior lecturer\, then associate professor and then as Section Head of Small Animal Medicine. From 2001 to 2022 he was an internist at Bryanston Veterinary Hospital in Johannesburg. From 2022 to 2025 joined Veterinary Specialists Ireland to set up an Internal Medicine service. \nHe is currently back at Bryanston Veterinary Hospital as an internist. He is actively involved in teaching and has presented numerous papers both locally and internationally and has written and co-authored numerous scientific papers\, review articles and book chapters in various aspects of small animal medicine.

DESCRIPTION:Subject: Experts’ Insights on “How to Use Librela for Managing OA Pain”\nSpeaker: Drs Ralph Harvey & Bryan Clarke\nOrganizer: Zoetis\nLINK: WATCH RECORDING \nDr Bryan Clarke\nDVM\, DABVP (Canine and Feline Practice) \nDr Clarke was born and raised in Tampa\, FL and attended the University of Florida for his Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Ecology\nand Conservation and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He is the managing owner of All Creatures Animal Hospital\, an AAHA\naccredited\, nine DVM practice just north of Tampa\, FL. \nDr Clarke is board certified in canine and feline practice by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and is also a Cat friendly and Fear Free Certified veterinarian. As a clinician at heart\, he loves the relationships involved with general practice and is passionate about oncologic care\, flexible endoscopy\, and non-invasive diagnostics. \nOutside of the exam room\, he is the vice president of the American Animal Hospital Association. He also serves on the Veterinary Economics Strategy Committee and the Task Force on Emerging Technologies and Innovation of the American Veterinary Medical Association\, and the Strategic Opportunities Committee for Veterinary Management Groups. He and his wife of 19 years\, Kimberly\, have a 13 year old son\, Hudson\, and enjoy all sorts of equestrian activities. His four-legged family members include a standard poodle\, an Irish setter\, a Morgan gelding\, and a very spirited calico. \nDr Ralph Harvey\nDVM. MS\, Diplomate American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia Veterinary Specialist: Anesthesia and Pain Management\, Zoetis Petcare\, Veterinary Professional Services \nDr Harvey grew up in Knoxville\, Tennessee. He studied genetic toxicology at UNC-Chapel Hill and worked for the NIH before obtaining his veterinary degree from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Harvey worked in private practice and completed an internship and residency in anesthesiology at Cornell University. \nHe spent over three decades of his career on faculty at the University of Tennessee\, where he became an associate professor and head of the surgical services section. While at UT\, aside from educating over 4\,000 veterinary students\, he also trained and mentored many interns and residents in anesthesia and surgery. He was honored with the Brandy Memorial Award in 2007 and the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2012. \nHe is the author of over 50 peer-reviewed publications and over 20 textbook chapters. After leaving the university in 2018\, he served as Chair of the Veterinary Advisory Board for BioTraceIT\, focusing on the objective assessment of pain\, and he is currently a member of the Advisory Panel for Fear Free Pets. \nDr Harvey’s influence extends beyond academia. He is a renowned speaker\, having been a valued KOL for Zoetis for several years. His expertise and engaging style earned him the title of Small Animal Speaker of the Year at the WVC in 2023. He is also an active member of his community and was recently President of the Great Smoky Mountains Conservation Association. \nDr Harvey’s professional contributions are not limited to his teaching and research. He has served on numerous committees of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia\, the Tennessee VMA\, and the Knoxville VMA Board of Directors. Outside of work\, he finds joy in outdoor activities such as hiking\, gardening\, scuba diving\, and snowboarding. He resides in Knoxville\, TN with his wife Dr. Nancy Harvey\, a spay/neuter surgeon. Their home is shared with a beloved Plott Hound named June.
