She is an elected Fellow of the RCVS for her contributions to clinical practice in the field of Veterinary Dermatology. She is the Veterinary Director of a Veterinary Dermatologicals Ltd. Sue has written 7 textbooks and more than 90 refereed publications in English\, European and American journals. She has lectured extensively and has been an invited speaker at international meetings in more than 60 countries. She is an elected member of RCVS Council\, was President of the RCVS 2023 – 24. Sue is a past president of the BSAVA and of ESVD. She is the current President of the World Association for Veterinary Dermatology. \nSue is Vice Chair of Trustees at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and Founder and Chair of the Animal Charity Pharmacy. She is married to Richard and has two grown up children Samantha and Matthew. In her spare time\, she is a keen organic gardener cultivating two acres of garden\, a hen and beekeeper and enjoys long walks with her dogs across the Cumbrian fells where she lives. \nDr Mats Abatzidis \nDr Mats Abatzidis qualified as a veterinarian from Onderstepoort in 2001\, after completing a B.Sc. Cum laude at Potchefstroom University majoring in Physiology & Microbiology. Worked in private practice in Johannesburg for 4 years with a focus on small animal medicine while studying Business Management on a part-time basis and has subsequently been working in the veterinary industry since 2006\, currently the Technical Specialist for Companion Animal Products at MSD Animal Health. \nDr Mats is currently contributing to training veterinarians\, veterinary nurses\, veterinary practice staff members\, breeders and pet owners all over South Africa in person or through written articles.
