Topics will include goal setting\, client engagement and promotion\, tools and interventions for weight loss\, communication strategies for both the team and clients\, and celebrating success.\nAdditionally\, the speakers will explore client communication preferences in various clinical decision-making scenarios.\nLearning objectives\n▪ Become familiar with the process of designing specific weight loss programs\, and assess the effectiveness of ongoing recommendations to maintain long-term success.\n▪ Develop comprehensive strategies to address common barriers to weight management success such as managing multiple pets and preventing unintended access to food.\n▪ Assess client communication preferences in various clinical decision-making contexts and identify the most important weight-related attributes during client conversations about pet obesity. \nThis program is approved for 1 hour of continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval.
