Join us on the 10th of June for some supper and an evening lecture.
“Busting Pain” will provide a practical overview of pain physiology in emergency and critical care patients, with a focus on understanding the mechanisms behind acute pain and sensitization. Using common emergency presentations and critical care cases, the talk will cover key principles of first-line analgesia, common pitfalls in pain management, and practical, evidence-based approaches to improving patient comfort and care in the clinical setting.
