This presentation will cover the most common lower urinary tract disorders in cats including idiopathic cystitis, struvite and calcium urolithiasis. The incidence and underlying pathophysiology of each will be presented. Common nutritional approaches for acute and long-term management will be discussed as well as likelihood of recurrence. How to communicate to cat owners about diagnosis and management will also be discussed.
