Dr Collin A Martin BVSc MMedVet (Path) MRCVS
Collin qualified as a veterinarian in 2008 and started working as a general practitioner in the Kyalami area of Johannesburg. He joined Idexx in 2014 as an anatomical pathology resident based at the Idexx anatomical pathology laboratory within Onderstepoort. He successfully completed his specialist MMedVet (Pathology) degree in 2020 and subsequently relocated to Cape Town with his wife and young daughter. They then welcomed a second daughter in 2021. His research project described the pathology of babesia related acute lung injury and acute respiratory distress syndrome in canines. Professional interests include neoplastic diseases as well as diseases of avian and exotic species.
