This webinar will provide an overview of diabetes mellitus in cats and dogs, highlighting species-specific differences. While the primary focus will be on the role of nutrition in managing feline and canine diabetes mellitus, the presenters will also discuss comprehensive management, including monitoring and weight loss.
Learning objectives
After this webinar, attendees will be able to:
â–ª Describe key differences in the presentation and pathophysiology of diabetes mellitus in cats versus dogs.
â–ª Explain the role of nutrition in the management of feline and canine diabetes, including diet selection and feeding strategies.
