Dr Estee van Zyl is a Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist and Head of the Internal Medicine Department at Fourways Veterinary Hospital. She leads a dedicated team comprising one additional specialist, two residents, and an intern.
Estee joined the hospital in 2014, where she discovered her passion for internal medicine. She started her Honours in 2016 and pursued her residency in 2018 under the mentorship of Dr Alain Carter.
She has a particular interest in managing diabetes in pets and is committed to improving patient outcomes while supporting pet owners through complex medical journeys.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two lively miniature schnauzers.
