The liver, sigh, such a wonderful organ…but it can also be so annoying. It’s those liver enzymes again! Raised for no obvious reason! Now what? Sigh. Have some SAMe. One month later – higher, just enough to be a problem. Is this really a problem? Do you cut for certainty, or continue therapy? Your next dog is vomiting and has an acute increase in enzymes. Incision for precision, or medication with observation? In this case-based CPD we will discuss some real-life liver cases and perhaps an unusual case or two.
